We are proud to highlight ERN CRANIO’s vibrant presence at this year’s European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG) conference in Milan. During the ERN-dedicated session titled “Get2Gether – European Reference Networks: The time is now,” our Genetics Working Group Lead, Wanda Lattanzi, took the stage to present the important work our network is doing in the field of rare diseases.
In her inspiring presentation, Wanda showcased how the ERN CRANIO geneticists group is developing tutorials designed specifically for patients living with rare craniofacial and ENT conditions. These educational resources aim to empower patients and families by making complex genetic information more accessible.
Wanda was joined by Genetics Working Group Co-Lead Alexandra Topa and network representative Sandrine Marlin, who were also present to engage with the broader genetic community and represent ERN CRANIO.
The session served as a valuable platform to increase the visibility of our genetics work and marked an important milestone: Wanda Lattanzi, Alexandra Topa and Sandrine Marlin were appointed liaison members to the ESHG, helping to forge a stronger connection between ERNs and the European genetics community.

A big thank you to Wanda, Alexandra, and Sandrine for representing our network with such dedication and passion!
