Tours University Hospital (CHRU de Tours)comprises four hospital sites providing medical and surgical care for both adult and pediatric patients. Strongly committed to research, the Tours University Hospital hosts 10 research teams and 58 accredited centers specialized in the management of rare diseases.

The Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery, headed by Professor Boris Laure, is accredited as a Center of Expertisefor the management of craniofacial malformations and facial clefts within the CRANIOST and MAFACE networks of the TETECOU Rare Diseases Healthcare National Network.

Multidisciplinary and multicenter collaboration at both the national and international levels is essential for the management of rare craniofacial diseases. The integration of our center into the ERN CRANIO network as a Supporting Partner will strengthen international collaboration and facilitate knowledge exchange, ultimately improving the care of patients with rare craniofacial conditions.
