ERN CRANIO
STRUCTURE & ORGANISATION
The ERN CRANIO coordination office is based at Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. This makes the Erasmus MC the coordinating centre of ERN CRANIO, as well as a full member. The coordination office consists of:
ERN CRANIO coordinator Prof. dr. Irene Mathijssen, head of department Plastic and Reconstructive surgery and Hand surgery.
ERN CRANIO project managers Ikram L'khssim and Roos Wensveen
The network itself is structured by workstreams, which are categorized according to our main disease areas. We have diseases-specific working groups ('vertical working groups') and transversal working groups (horizontal across the different disease areas). The network is coordinated by the coordination team and supported by the ERN CRANIO board. To ensure transparency and effective governance, ERN CRANIO activities are guided by formal by-laws.
